I got a chance last weekend to play with Taylor's sketch. I ended up making two Halloween cards and had a lot of fun!

My little boy saw me making cards and decided he desperately needed to make some Halloween cards and would Mommy please take a picture of them and put them up on the blog too. It's really hard to say no to that, so . . . .

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to take a minute and upload my card this week for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge. This week's sketch was really fun--I have seen Dawn McVey talk in her blog about using the clear embossing powder with polka dots (here's an example) and I wanted to try it. I have to say I think it looks kinda cool! Thanks for looking, and have fun with next week's challenge--I won't be able to play along, will be off having fun with the kids!

Hello Everyone! My oldest daughter and I decided to join in on Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. Taylor's sketch this week was so adorable! So for my cards I decided to use a cupcake theme, and had so much fun I ended up making three of them--two girly and one hopefully more on the masculine side!

Good Day! Today we have some cards to share with you from the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. My daughters and I actually had the opportunity to meet Taylor (and she is so sweet in person, we were so sad when we discovered she was moving!) before she moved to Iowa, and one of the things she did mention to us was that she had never seen any of our cards posted. That conversation was one of our motivating factors for creating this blog! So without further ado, here are our first cards for the Cupcake Challenge.

Taylor gave us a great sketch to work with--I really liked the little sentiment circle below the image.
