Papertrey Ink August Blog Hop!

Here we are for another round of the PTI Blog Hop! Last month was so much fun, and everyone left such sweet comments--thank you so much! This month's challenge was to celebrate Autumn and to create something inspired by Fall--whether it be Fall colors, Fall holidays, etc. The challenge also wanted us to step outside our comfort zone and use fabrics, stitching, or things we don't normally use. My daughters and I all played along this month (have to get in that last crafting before school starts), here is what we created:

EDITED TO ADD: Today is my Mom's Birthday, so I just wanted to say a big Happy Birthday Mom!

Chris's Card

I tried to incorporate some stitching using a CTMH stitch stamp set, and this is the first time I have ever stamped on twill!

Stamps: Mailbox Greetings (PTI), In Stitches (CTMH)
Ink: Ripe Avocado, Dark Chocolate, Summer Sunrise, Scarlet Jewel (PTI)
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Rustic White, Ripe Avocado (PTI)

J's Card

Stamps: Everyday Button Bits, Mailbox Greetings (PTI)
Ink: New Leaf, Plum Pudding, Scarlet Jewel, Summer Sunrise, Spring Moss, Dark Chocolate

Accessories: Buttons (PTI, MM)

K's Card
