Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop Challenge

Hello Friends!  Today is the PTI January Blog Hop Challenge--this month, we were asked to pick a favorite project from 2011 and share it, and to use that project as an inspiration to create a new project!  I just finished my new card last night at midnight . . . .

So here is my original favorite PTI project from 2011, originally seen on my blog in July here

I then created a new card using the same patterned paper pack and color scheme, general sketch, and using more Button Bits (which I really need to play with more, they are so much fun!)

Happy Happy Joy Joy
Stamps:  Blooming Button Bits (PTI)
Ink:  Dark Chocolate (PTI); Butterscotch (Vivid)
Cardstock:  Ocean Tides, Stampers Select White (PTI); Pumpkin Spice (Gina K Designs)
Patterned Paper:  Stampin Up
Accessories:  Buttons (Misc), Ribbon (CTMH), Rhinestones

I can't wait to see everyone else's favorites--have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!

Chris

  6. The first card with the button balloons is so cute. But the second is my fav, it has a warm home spun feel!! Love those sweet flower buttons nestled among the leaves!

  8. I LOVE the colors you used on both cards! I've got to use my button set more often, I think I've only used it once! I like the frames on both cards, too.

  10. I love both cards. Interesting how you can totally change things within the same set of colors just by emphasizing a different color. Love those buttons!
