I have always wanted to play along on one of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Sketch Challenges--and this week I actually did! :)
This week was special, WMS Sketch Challenge Blog is celebrating their 100th sketch! Here it is, I thought it was such a fun sketch to try:
So I got to try out my latest WMS stamps . . . . this is for a family friend who is celebrating her promotion from elementary school next week. I rotated the sketch (so the balloon would fit!) and then made the sentiment on my computer. I was trying for a fun and happy card.
Happy Promotion Day!
Stamps: Half Pint Heroines (WMS)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Teal Zeal (Memento)
Patterned Paper: Echo Park
Cardstock: Cool Caribbean (SU), Stamper's Select White (PTI)
Misc. Ribbon, lace, Copic Markers
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Chris

ReplyDeleteOh that is so SWEET! I just love the fun bright colors and the way that you paper-pieced the balloon! The cloud paper in the background is adorable. What a fun card for a little...with sparkle! Yes, you always need that for little girls! Happy 100th sketch! So glad that you could play along this week :)!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Chris! Love the colorful hot air balloon! Thanks for joining along with the WMSC :)
ReplyDeleteHi Chris! What a happy card - I love it... "promotion day" that would make anyone as high as a kite! Love your fussy cut balloon and that big smiley face on the sweet girl inside. The cloud paper and sparkly ribbon are perfect for this!
