Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop August 2011

Happy Summer Everyone, and Welcome to the Taylored Expressions August Blast from the Past Blog Hop!  This month's theme was Collector's Anonymous, to use up something we've been hoarding in our cupboard.  So I pulled out this great Doodlebug paper and embellishments I had, all from the cooking line.  I wanted to make some "thanks for dinner" cards--we were invited to a Block Party last month, and I discovered that a thanks for dinner card would have been great to have in my stash!

So I made a trio of thank you cards, used up some of my Doodlebug paper, but I still couldn't find a spot for those cute little embellishments, they just didn't seem to fit the card.  Maybe next time . . . .

I used Sankari's great sketch:

And here are my cards:
"Thanks for Dinner"

"Thank You to the Hostess with the Mostess! "

"With Friends Like You . . . . "

"Thanks for Dinner"

My daughters also had time to enter one last blog hop before school starts:

J's "Collector's Anonymous" was to raid the scrap box . . . .

Now don't forget to check out what everyone else has been saving up:
